Just found out one of my classmates has cancer in the throat. Thank God it's not life threatening, but he'll have to under go chemotherapy. It's a bit shocking to find that one of your classmates, your own age (or near it) has cancer. I guess that's life and it's time to face reality. We're out of the protective childhood stage and to find out that the world isn't all nice and pretty. But I pray for the health and safety of my classmate, Henri, and also my Aunt who recently discovered cancer in her liver. God bless both of them for safe health. -S.

Watched HP and Goblet of Fire last night. Very good movie...some quirks, but they got the Voldy vs. Harry part really well. Ahhhh it was nice seeing James and Lily actually talk and aide Harry during that scene. Heheheehe...and Cedric was really cool! Will blog later...kinda tired right now even though home on vacation. Heheeheh... -Shadow Chaser

It seems like my muses are stuck in a rut. A very giant rut. It happened yesterday when I was playing some Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II...hmm... They decided to start writing some KotOR fan fics and suddenly they just got stuck at some part, no less, in the middle of a frakking battle and then didn't want to cooperate for the rest of the night. Weird little buggers. Perhaps some electro shock therapy will help them. *rubs hands gleefully* WAHAHHAHAAH!! Anyways, the general consensus is that I am sooo in a Star Wars mood...but I think it's fading out right now... -Shadow

Celebrate the one year publishing date of Arbiter Forces and master is almost done! This will probably be one of her quickest fics that's been dragged out for a while. One that beat that was Escaflowne's Silent Attack. Of course, this does not count any of her "summer projects" which are supposed to be written as fast and as good as possible in the span of 3 months. Heheheheh... Yay! -The Muses

I brought Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith yesterday and watched it. You know, watching on a computer dvd makes you see that some of the computer graphic qualities aren't that great. But visually, it's impressive. Of course, this the movie for all lightsaber battles. About almost every scene there is a lightsaber flashing somewhere. It's all soooo pretty.... *cuddles lightsaber* But that still doesn't make RotS one of the better Star Wars movies. I still am a huge fan of the originals and believe that they are much, much, much better plot and storyline wise than any of the prequels. I also think the space battles are a lot more impressive in of itself in the original trilogy. Plus the music is a lot better...John Williams' compositions are running into themes now...and that's a bit redundant. Meep! Now I have the urge again to write in Star Wars fics so we'll see how this pans out! -Shadow Chaser

Hey folks, this is Haldir here. The Master is currently writing on a few fics that she has as side projects before going back to her sorrowly needed-to-be-written fics, Arbiter Forces and Lusankya. Wish her the best of luck! -Haldir

*Baby Markus crawls out of little hidey-hole and yawns* Myah...tis been a while since Master has done anything. She's been depressed recently since her twin sister left for Japan for a whole year so she's been missing her. But that doesn't mean us muses aren't at work. We're working big time with her through her classes and through some fics that she's got ideas to work with. Right now she's working on six fic projects: G-SEED: Arbiter Forces, Star Wars: Lusankya, LotR: Shadows that Remain, Yami no Matsuei: Survival, Yoroiden Samurai Troopers: Mysticism, and Point of No Return. So...master has sort of been busy. Please be patient oh kind readers of her's. Thank you! -Baby Markus

She's just posted up CH 14 of Gundam SEED: Arbiter Forces, and is working on Star Wars: Lusankya, CH 12. Stay tuned and wish her the best of luck. Of course, all might change by next week b/c of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. ^_^ w00t! hehehe. Wark! Kweh! *glomps onto Cloud* -Haldir, Baby Markus, and Sikorsky

There is a certain reason why I don't write Star Wars fanfiction anymore. Every time, there are new books, new concepts - all part of the canon. And that just blows my theories out of the water. Though I like reading AU fics and other fics written by others, it's just writing fanfics, especially during the NJO period is too hard. Especially with Dark Nest I: The Joiner King out right now. Well, it's 5 years in between the NJO so there is room to write, but manipulating all those characters after the authors ran them through a wringer has become complex. They're not the same characters we fell in love with so many years ago. And I feel that NJO did something to rip them away. I like parts of NJO, but there are also other parts in which I totally abhor and hate. Anakin's death, while it was very poignant, I felt what purpose did it have? There was something missing in his death and the effects afterwards. So now I write thought pieces on Star Wars. Until I get the urge again to write a full length novel sized story. Only to find it shot down as more post-NJO or pre-NJO books come out. One good thing though, Michael Stackpole doesn't seem to be touching Tycho Celchu's time in Lusankya, so that's the only full-length novel I'm writing. ^_^ Another good thing, lightsabers rule. -Shadow

Oddly, four days since I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, I don't feel like writing in my HP fanfics. Perhaps it is a sign of things to come - either that my muses are half asleep. Eh. Oh well. Back to G-SEED and other fics. Esp. Lusankya. Meep.

We muses are attempting to escape the rut once more. And it's partially successful, though Baby Markus is still attempting to fly around in a Batman cape. *thwacks Baby Markus*. Master has updated on her Gundam SEED story so head on to fanfiction.net to read. ^_^ Writing LotR and Lusankya is another story. Though I keep prodding Sikorsky to continue to torture Tycho, but he seems to be distracted by a shiny fat object called the Strike Freedom from Gundam SEED DESTINY. Grrrr. Now I bid thee adeu and will talk later. -Haldir

Master is in anothe rut for a while now. Apologies to all her readers if you are reading this. The rut is partially her own fault and that of the pressures of the outside world that is sadly called: REALITY. You see, master has two jobs she juggles for five days a week. She is also juggling buying furniture for her apartment next year and saving up money. She also juggles her karate class and that leaves us muses with little or nothing to do. Well, except for Baby Markus who likes karate and is currently mimicing it's moves. Quit it Baby Markus. Anyways, she will try to have her next chapter up by this weekend. Of "Lusankya", "Shadows that Remain", and "Arbiter Forces." Please bear with her. This summer has been very busy. Thanks from the muses, Haldir, Sikorsky, and Baby Markus

I am a A Heliotropic Dragon! Hey, I took the http://dragonhame.com online Inner Dragon quiz and found out I am a Heliotropic Dragon on the inside. In the war between good and evil, a Heliotropic Dragon tends to walk the fine line of Neutrality.... When it comes to the powers of Chaos vs. those of Law and Order, your inner dragon walks a fine line between Law and Chaos.... As far as magical tendancies, Your inner dragon has the ability to conquer the world of magic, but it will not be easy.... During combat situations, whether by spells or by claw, your inner dragon will do whatever it takes to get the job done.... Instead of scales, Heliotropic Dragons have a thick hide to cover their body. At the early stages of life, the Heliotropic Dragon is green with red speckles that resemble blood spots. When fully grown, the dragons color changes to any number of variations of violet, but predominantly they have a deep, reddish purple color with streaks of azure blue and magenta.' This unusual skin type also gives them an unusually sleek appearance and allows them to move with greater speed and freedom both in air and under water. These Dragon's are known to be highly competitive.' They often meet with other dragons to compete with each other for sport. NOTE: A few small villages have been destroyed by being so unlucky as to be in the path of a speeding Heliotropic Dragon taking a shortcut to gain an advantage over it's competitor. Heliotropic Dragons are well known for their protectiveness, but also are known as loyal friends and allies. They make true friends rarely, but those friendships that they make are well chosen and long lasting. ' This Dragons favorite elements are: BloodStone and Valerian Root http://Dragonhame.Com

Master's been on a slight FF7-high for the last couple of days, but decided to post up a few of what she's currently working on. Here's a preview of Gundam SEED: Arbiter Forces, X: Chances, and Final Fantasy 7: Jenova's Children.Gundam SEED: Arbiter Forces - Chapter 8“Well, it is in your genes, Kira,” Madison said in an annoyingly simple voice that he found to be just a bit irritating. It was as if she was talking down to a petulant child. “You are the Ultimate Coordinator and it would be beneficial if you can learn how to use your gifts to the full advantage.”“What so I can be your weapon?”“No, no, we don’t need you to be a weapon. That’s what Nikolai’s been created for,” Madison blinked lazily before a smile appeared on her face.Kira blinked at the meaning of her words. Griever’s name had been Nikolai Mercus…it couldn’t be the same Nikolai could it? But looking at her expression ice began to form in his stomach and he realized that Patrick Zala had been behind the Talon. All of the pieces of the puzzle for the last few weeks were falling into place. He should have figured it out when he saw the man and knew that the man was obsessed with finding him…of course he would set a trap up for him at Mendel. Talon was just a front for his own schemes and it would seem that he had set up this elaborate trap just to get him.
"Ah, I see you’ve figured it out,” Madison tilted her head slightly; “it took you long enough. I would have figured you would have been brighter in deducing Patrick’s plans. Oh well, not all Coordinators are created the same…I should have expected that.”
----------------------
X: Chances
“Originally, Genbu, the God of the North decided he wanted more power than any of the other Four Gods. He wanted to challenge Kami himself and so his counterpart, Suzaku opposed him. They pitted their warriors against each other and in the end, Suzaku won. However, though it was not known to us at that time, Byako was manipulating Genbu and he was the true God who wanted all of the power. He attacked Suzaku and destroyed most of his warriors, leaving only the three most powerful clans of Japan barely alive. But Suzaku was able to push Byako back until the appointed time.” “Which is now,” Sora interjected, “or rather, was supposed to be if the Promised Day Prophecy wasn’t created." Seiryuu silenced Sora with a glare, “Now, Byako gathers his warriors and the only one left to stop them is you, my warriors – the Dragons of Heaven and Earth. Seiryuu’s Warriors. “Then, why? Why did you create the Promised Day? Why did you not want us to fight Byako’s Warriors?” Fuma spoke up quietly in the back and Kamui turned, half surprised to see his best friend step forward, Kotori protectively behind him. “Because of the pain and suffering you all would suffer. However, I see now that my error was that of creating a false Prophecy…one to try to prevent you from fulfilling this one. I did not want to see any of you hurt or possibly dead. But I see now that my errors are that of avoiding the Prophecy,” Seiryuu bowed her beautiful head sadly, “I am truly sorry, my warriors. I give you the choice now. Will you help fulfill the Prophecy and drive back Byako’s Warriors? If you chose not to, I will hold no ill will against you and you will return to your lives, both those that died and those that are still alive.” “But the benefits of fighting Byako’s Warriors is that those that died, like me, be in our bodies, alive and breathing?” Sorata stepped up, a smirk on his face. “Yes,” Seiryuu inclined her head once. ------------ FF7: Jenova's ChildrenFrom the rows of cubicles that occupied the 65 th floor of the Shinra Building in the sprawling metropolis of Midgar, one would have thought that a shock of blond hair, which looked oddly like chocobo greens, would be present in such a white-collared job industry. Such hair like that would demand cutting or at least some proper grooming, but then again, the people who suggested that didn’t know who was the owner of the spiky blond hair. Cloud Strife sighed and ran a hand through his blond hair, not really noticing that his hair always returned to its position of a mass of porcupine-like spikes. All he was focused on was completing the report in front of him. He blinked his Mako blue eyes, the mark of a SOLDIER of Shinra, trying to make them focus on the typed words that were beginning to blur in front of his computer screen. He hated reports and hated the fact that he was always up late doing them for Shinra Inc. and especially for SOLDIER. SOLDIER was the elite military force for the Mako/coal-based company, the former material now being a precious commodity since war broke out between the Shinra Empire and its westerly not-so-nice neighbor, the Kisagari Empire. Though he was third-in-command of all of SOLDIER, his position not easily gained as he had to go through rigors training and lead a lot of troops to battle and to their death, he was quite possibly one of the youngest to make it so high. -------- Okie, those are the previews!

We muses have been in a rut lately. It's partially master's fault along with ours, but here's the story. Master was not thinking of cosplay to AnimeBoston 2005 later in April until just a few days ago when lightning seem to hit her and she decided that she wanted to go as Lacus Clyne in her commander outfit from the last few episodes of Gundam SEED. She was originally going to cosplay as Kira Yamato, but that costume wasn't completed in time. Anyways, we her muses were glad of this because we like Lacus and think this would have been a good opportunity for Master to work on her SEED fic. Alas...she's been consumed with making the costume for the weekend and left us muses a bit out. But the costume looks great so we have really little to no qualms. ^_^ -Haldir, Sikorsky, and Baby Markus

Ho Hum...another semester...well Master hasn't really started a semester yet, that's next week, but she is back at school working. So work it is...
Of course, we muses aren't exactly working, but I'm sure she'll change that. After all, she gave use lots of treats during the holiday break. X...Babylon 5...Gundam SEED Destiny...Last Exile - which is a great anime so far of the 12 episodes she's seen.
So...I, Haldir the main muse of the Master, will now pledge to write at least something tonight, and oh, help her update her Atlantis Mythos website. ^_^
